Tampa is an exciting ever-changing city with amenities that continue to draw people from all around the country. With the Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center, the expanded Curtis Hixon Riverfront Park featuring the Park Cart and Rock the Park concerts, the Glazer Children's Museum, and the Zack Street Promenade of the Arts, it is quickly gaining a reputation as a true cultural arts destination.
Fall is the perfect season to experience our great city. Excitement is building for the start of the season for both the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Special activities include the Ybor City Saturday Market, the Downtown Tampa Market, and the Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta held the first Wednesday of each month. In September the Festival del Sabor showcases Tampa Bay Hispanic culture through food, music and art. October brings Screen on the Green at the new Water Works Park, Oktoberfest to downtown Tampa, and of course, Halloween festivities abound, including the nationally renowned Guavaween Family FunFest in Ybor City, full of daytime activities for the whole family. The Ybor City Heritage & Cigar Festival in November celebrates Tampa's rich cultural heritage with a day of entertainment, traditional foods, exhibits and some of the world's finest cigars.
