With the Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center, the expanded Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park featuring Rock the Park concerts, Pound Fit cardio classes, the Glazer Children's Museum, the Zack Street Promenade of the Arts, and the new and exciting Perry Harvey, Sr. Park, it has gained a reputation as a true cultural arts destination.

Fall is the perfect season to experience our great city. Excitement is building for the start of the season for both the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Special activities include the Ybor City Saturday Market and the Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta held the first Wednesday of each month. September kicks off Hispanic Heritage Season with Florida Orchestra's Hispanic Heritage Concert in the Park, galas honoring Hispanic individuals, and festivals that showcase Tampa Bay's Hispanic culture through food, music and art. October brings Movies in the Park at Water Works Park, Tampa Bay's Tailgate Taste Fest and Oktoberfest to downtown Tampa, and of course, Halloween festivities abound including the Pumpkin Patch in Ybor City and Howl O' Scream at Busch Gardens. The Ybor City Cigar Festival in November celebrates Tampa's rich cultural heritage with a day of entertainment, traditional foods, exhibits and some of the world's finest cigars.
