On the waterfront, the Channel District is an area of redevelopment, anchored by Channelside Bay Plaza and new condo and apartment residences. Tampa is an exciting ever-changing city with amenities that continue to draw people from all around the country. Fall is the perfect season to experience our great city.

Be sure to visit the vibrant Tampa Riverwalk and the newly renovated Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park. Other venues throughout the city to experience unique events and activities include the Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center, Glazer Children's Museum, the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, and all of the amazing City of Tampa parks. Fall also brings the excitement of the start of the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's seasons.

Special fall activities include the Ybor City Saturday Market, Fourth Friday Downtown Tampa, and the Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta on the first Wednesday of each month. September kicks off Hispanic Heritage Season with galas recognizing Hispanic individuals and festivals honoring Hispanic culture through food, music and art. October brings Movies in the Park at Water Works Park, Oktoberfest and the Pig Jig to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, and Halloween activities abound including the Pumpkin Patch in historic Ybor City, Howl O' Scream at Busch Gardens, and the Riverwalk Trick or Treat. The Ybor City Cigar Festival in December celebrates Tampa's rich cultural heritage with a day of entertainment, traditional foods, exhibits and some of the world's best cigars.
